Moyvane was the setting for the 2005 North Kerry Championship Final between Listowel and Ballyduff on December 17th. With a display, which was rich in effort and endeavour, Ballyduff prevailed in an exciting, competitive encounter against a highly fancied Listowel team. The rain lashed down during the game but that was soon forgotten with the fine feast of pork from the pig roasted on a spit in the Village.
