Kerry – 2004 All Ireland Champions
Congratulations to the Kingdom on bringing Sam Maguire back home for the 33rd time. After the disappointments of the past few years, Kerry left their critics speechless with a spellbinding performance that overwhelmed Mayo on the day. Moyvane didnt have any players on the panel but we were delighted to see other North Kerry men like Eamonn Fitzmaurice, Paul Galvin, Paddy Kelly and Brendan Guiney contribute to the win. Our own Sean Walsh had another magnificent year as Chairman of the Kerry County Board.
Dara O’Cinneide was a great captain and crowned the day with an inspiring acceptance speech all in Gaelic.
“Ta an broduil orm an corn sin a glacadh…..
do lucht peileidoiri, do lucht roghneoiri, do lucht tachaiocht, an Riocht”
