DEATH took place of Patie Wren on October 18th `09, he lived at Carrigkerry and Clounleharde and was at St Ita’s Hospital for many years. Patie always enquired about the people he knew in Knockanure long ago when and his father walked to fairs in Castleisland and further a field, he had a farm on the Kerrykyle Glensharold area which was once owned by a Mrs Kennelly.Fr Madden said the Requiem Mass for Patie Wren, he was laid to rest at Kilfergus Churchyard.
