40 Hours Eucharistic Adoration Mission in Listowel which began on Friday evening May 9th was an unusual experience, many spent more than three hours in the church, the usual rush from the church was noticeably absent, people who were absent missed the lovely singing of the young Canadian friar Brother Gabriel and the inspiring activities of Fr Sylvester had the people relaxed and hopefully will make a renewed effort to follow in Christ’s footsteps. Saturday evening Mass with the choir and inspirational talk was very well received.

SHOW: The Kingdom County Show on Sunday May 11th was another great warm day only just a bit of mist in the evening, it would take a long day to observe all the events which included, dog show, horse and buggy trials, show jumping, exhibitions of vintage and antiques, art, baking and produce competitions, food of various kinds were available, what was missing was what are called healthy foods. Fowl of various breeds were on display and sports for the athletic minded and much more to browse and view.
