BEST Wishes to Knockanure Tidy Town Group who won the Kerry endeavour award this year, well done to Moyvane who received 246 marks, Sneem was the only village in their category in Kerry to beat them. Listowel got Gold Medal for their achievements in the Tidy Town Competition.

CLASSES: Computer Classes will commence at Knockanure Community Centre on Monday 22nd September at 7pm for eight weeks. Computer Classes for Farmers will commence at Knockanure Community Centre on Tuesday 23rd September at 7pm for six weeks. CHERNOBYL fundraising Dog Night in association with WL102fm on Saturday, November 15 at the Greyhound Track in Tralee. All monies raised will be divided equally between the Chernobyl Children’s Fund and WL102. The Abbeyfeale Chernobyl Children’s Fund intend to use their share of the monies raised to build a House of Hope in Chernobyl.
