DEATH of Martin Mulvihill, College Lawn, Listowel and late of Leitrim East, Moyvane, on March 2nd, 2023. Brother of the late Eddie and Eilish. Martin is survived by his wife Hannah, daughter Anna, grandchildren Debbie, Tommy, Conor and his wife Holly, great-grandchildren Thomas, Oliver and CJ, brothers John and Tommy, sister Maura, son-in-law Tom, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces. Requiem Mass for Martin was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Listowel, on Monday morning, followed by burial afterwards in St. John Paul II Cemetery.

EVENTS: Ballydonoghue Bardic Festival, Lisselton: 23rd – 26th March 2023.
The 2023 festival seeks to honour the memory of Pádraig Liath Ó Conchubhair, who was born in Lisselton in the parish of Ballydonoghue in 1745 and died around 1820. He was a Hedge Schoolmaster, Poet and renowned Academic who established The Lisselton Bardic Court, known as ‘Cúirt na Súagh’, The Court of the Wise.
