DEATHS: Garry McMahon who was born in Listowel 71 years ago, was a man of many parts, he was well known in sport and music circles, Garry was laid to rest at Calvery Cemetery, Newcastle West on Friday March 7th `08 also on Friday 7th the death of Paddy Lysaght occurred, he was born in 1917, Paddy spent his youth in Duagh, his works include a short history of Duagh and the Feale , Paddy Lysaght was laid to rest at Springmount, Duagh. The contribution to the betterment of man made by Garry and Paddy during their life is appreciated by all.
