I spent a day walking around Galway City and only found one drinking water fountain, hidden in a park.
BINGO Moyvane; coming to bingo to please think about where you park your car. For the last two nights cars have been causing an obstruction and people have had to leave bingo to move their cars. One other thing, the crowds are big right now and there is a problem with people who come late so can you fill the seats and leave space for others. If you have a handbag you might park it under your seat. Thank you. Did you know that the prize money at bingo every Thursday night is a minimum €3,000 but it could be as high as €5,000. CELEBRATION OF LIGHT CEREMONY – Tralee Bay Wetlands will once again provide the backdrop for this year’s Celebration of Light Ceremony, organised annually by cancer support charity – Recovery Haven Kerry. TOADS: Two hundred natterjack toadlets were released in Castlegregory recently. They were reared in a conservation project between the National Parks and Wildlife Service and Fota Wildlife Park.
The natterjack can have a high mortality rate of 90% in the wild.

IRISH Words: The Dictionary and Lost Irish Words
From September to December this year in Australia, you can see a stage adaptation of the acclaimed novel The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams. The novel is an account of a young girl’s effort save words that had been excluded by the first Oxford English Dictionary compilers in 1886.
