ST PATRICK’S Day; The local school children have their school windows covered in St Patrick posters, some of them are also displayed in the Church. The Sacred Space in the Church has also been upgraded with many new features. Kearney’s Window is as usual having a 17th of March look. Mass and Hymns in Irish were part of the celebrations in both churches on the vigil and St Patrick’s Day, great credit to all who put in so much practice and make the day special. Parade in Listowel was well attended with plenty of entertainment and on a sober note it is with sadness the we recall the passing of Dan Keane, Sean Broderick and Michael Dowling, today’s parade was built on their shoulders.
