WALK: Community Centre sponsored walk will be held on April 1st,
assemble at 1.30pm; Refreshments on return and monster Raffle.
Easter Party time on the same day from 2pm to 4pm….Activities
for the kids will include a fun quiz, Face Painting, Disco with
DJ Shicco and Easter Egg Galore for all kids. Admission E3 per
child, family concessions. Please support this great fun packed
day…you wont be disappointed. Donation will be going to
Listowel Hospice.
CLOTHES: Scoil Chorp Chríost Parents’ Association, Knockanure
are having a used (clean)clothes, bedlinen, curtains &
shoes collection on Friday 23rd March from 2 to 3.30 pm and on
Saturday 24th March from 3 to 5 pm, at Scoil Chorp Chríost
school gate, Knockanure. If you are unable to reach the school
with items, collection, if necessary, may be arranged. Ring or

ST PATRICK’S Day; The local school children have their school
windows covered in St Patrick posters, some of them are also
displayed in the Church. The Sacred Space in the Church has also
been upgraded with many new features. Kearney’s Window is as
usual having a 17th of March look. Mass and Hymns in Irish were
part of the celebrations in both churches on the vigil and St
Patrick’s Day, great credit to all who put in so much practice
and make the day special. Parade in Listowel was well attended
with plenty of entertainment and on a sober note it is with
sadness the we recall the passing of Dan Keane, Sean Broderick
and Michael Dowling, today’s parade was built on their

I.C.A.; In support of Daffodil Day the I.C.A. will serve teas at
Bingo on Thursday 22nd March. So if you fancy a treat during the
break you will be supporting this very worthy cause.
A.G.M. of the Moyvane Guild will take place at the Marian Hall
