CONGRATULATIONS to Moyvane man Liam ‘Speedy’ Nolan, on winning a seat in the Council, the Nolan’s are no strangers to the Council as the first Chairman of Kerry County Council was M J Nolan. The chairman of Kerry County Council, M.J. Nolan alluded to this connection in September 1914 at a meeting of people from different parts of the county in Tralee when he remarked that the Munsters were made up of their ‘…friends, relatives and neighbours… Congratulations also to Mike Kennelly who has also close connections with the parish.
