WEATHER is causing hardship to both man and beast, many have

every year from June 21st to June 26th, with direct flights from
Shannon airport.
DEATH took place on April 14th 2012 0f Birdie Liston of Pound
Cross, Loughill. Birdie is survived by brothers Danny and
Michael in Moyvane. Requiem Mass for Birdie Liston was
celebrated in Loughill Church by Fr O Leary PP, on April 16th.
Birdie Liston was laid to rest in Loughill Cemetery.
DEATH has taken place of Kathleen Reidy (nee Coffey) of Upper
Athea and late of Muckross, Killarney
Kathleen is survived by sons TJ, Stephen, daughters Catherine,
Margaret, Sharon, Alex, brothers Raymond, Dano, Maurice, sister
Peggy. Following Requiem Mass at St Bartholomew’s Church, Athea
on Thursday 19th April 2012, Kathleen Reidy was laid to rest in
Holy Cross Cemetery, Athea.
DEATH occurred on April 17th 2012 of Davi Dillon, Shronebeirne,
Kilmorna. Davie aged 89 years is survived by his brother Tom and
was predeceased by his sisters Kate and Nell and his brother
Mick who died in 2002. Following Requiem Mass at St. Bridget’s
Church, Duagh on April 19th Davie Dillon was laid to rest in
Springmount Cemetery, Duagh. His father was Jack Dillon and his
mother was Relihan of Kilcara, she died when Davie was a young
lad.
DEATH occurred of Jule Lane nee O Brien of Rea, Kilmorna and
late of Purt, she would have reached her 100th birthday in 6
weeks time. Jule was predeceased by her husband Dan Lane who was
a native of Brosna and is survived by her sons, Denis, Tady,
Edward and Dan, and daughter Bridie O Connor. Requiem Mass for
Jule Lane was celebrated in Duagh Church by Fr Moore and Fr
McMahon, she was laid to rest in Springmount Cemetery Duagh.
DEATH took place on 19th April 2012 of Richard Stack of
Clounbrean, Moyvane. Richard is survived by his wife Hannah, son
Richard and daughters Anne, Patricia and Margaret. His siblings
Mike, Tim, Han, Theresa and Mary survive him. Richard was
predeceased by siblings, Pat died 2008, John, Jim, Bridie and
Nora who died over a year ago.Richard born1929 was son of Paddy
and Margaret Stack of Moyvane. Richard Went to England and
married Hanna Flaherty in 1953, they came back to Ireland in
1981. Requiem Mass for Richard Stack was celebrated in Moyvane
Church by Fr Lucid on 22nd of April 2012, several family members
took part in the ceremony. The Mulvihill Family sang the hymns;
Kieran Flavin, D Healy and Tim Flaherty played tunes both at the
church and graveside. Cousin Joan Cronin sang a lovely farewell
song as the remains were leaving the church.
DEATH took place on April 14th 2012 in Newbridge of Lily O
Connor aged 86 years, wife of the late Mike O Connor a native of
Gortdromagowna. They are survived by their only son Pat O Connor
who spent his holidays in Knockanure in his youth. Lily was laid
to rest in Rathfarnhan Cemetery.
