GREAT Concert was held at the Community Centre in Knockanure on Thursday night last 19th December, great credit is due to all the artists, singers, performers, teachers and staff of both the school and community Centre for all their work.
CEILI in aid of MS will be held in the Marian Hall, Moyvane on Dec. 27th.
SWIM at Ballybunion on Christmas Day, start at 12.30pm in aid of Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue.
HUNT in Ballylongford on 29th December. There was a Hunt in Knockanure on last Sunday Week.

PROJECT: It would be a very worthwhile project if present day children read the Folklore collected in the parish by children in 1937/38 and recorded it on a CD.

RAMBLING HOUSE: Knockfierna Rambling House will hold a night of storytelling, music, singing at The Village Hall, Adare on Saturday, December 28 at 7.30pm . All welcome. Doors open at 7pm. There is no admission fee.
ST. STEPHEN’S DAY WALK: A 4-mile St Stephen’s Day walk, dedicated to the memory of Bill Kirby, will take place on Thursday, December 26 in aid of the Hospice Care Unit, Kerry General Hospital, departing from Kirby’s Brogue Inn, Lower Rock Street at 11.30am.
