THANKS to Fr. Kevin for his constant activity during the past year, recently he organised tokens for St Patricks Day and Mother’s Day. It is a lonely and isolated position to be a priest during the lockdown, they have all the stress and no social occasions to fresh themselves.

Knockanure at the turn for Church road will finish and move to a new location between Knockanure village and Moyvane graveyard.

SYMPATHY: To Mary & Jimmy Duggan, Murhur on the death of Mary’s brother Joe Moriarty, who died recently in Kent, UK. Mass for the happy repose of his soul is on Monday evening in the Church of the Assumption.

DEATH of Robert Nolan, Carrueragh, Kilmorna, and late of Speedy’s Bar, Moyvane, on March 18th, 2021. Predeceased by his wife Anne and sister Margaret. Survived by his son Liam (Speedy), daughter Linda, grandchildren Oliver, Paige and Ellie Mai, brothers Jim, Frank and Willie, sisters Mary and Carmel, daughter-in-law Eileen, son-in-law Jamie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces. Requiem Mass being celebrated in the Church of the Assumption, Moyvane, on Monday at 12 noon, which will be live-streamed on https://bit.ly/2NwKEGh , with burial afterwards in Ahavoher Cemetery, Knockanure, Moyvane.

DEATH of Josephine (Josie) Keane (née Mulcahy) Ballyine, Carrigkerry, on 14th March 2021. Predeceased by husband Tim. Survived by sons John and Thos, daughters in law Karina and Betty, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. funeral Mass was celebrated on St Patrick’s Day in Ardagh Church. Thos worked at the creamery Moyvane for many years.

CLEAN-UP; Team Limerick (TLC) clean up year 6 will go ahead this Good Friday April 2. It was not held in 2020 due to Covid-19, and our communities show all the signs. The event will have to be Covid compliant as we could still be in Level 5. KNOCK: The story of Knock in a small town just outside Rome, a new museum opened in honour of the famous Italian sculptor Lorenzo Ferri. In 1960, Ferri created the beautiful statues which portray the Apparition scene at Knock and which now stand in the glass Apparition Chapel, on the spot where 15 ordinary villagers witnessed something extraordinary 136 years ago.
