LOVELY ceremony for Christmas was
held in Knockanure Church on Sunday 23rd December 2012.There was
great participation by both children and adults and we had local
priests Fr McMahon and Fr O Callaghan assisting our Parish
Priest Fr Lucid. Thanks to all who put in so much work in
organising and preparing for the night, the Sacristan, singers,
readers and many others who prepared for the service.
The Church was again full to capacity with locals and visitors
for Christmas night Mass, again the choir were in their element,
assisted by Miss More on the piano, solo singers and children.
The small children brought presents for the crib and older
children done some readings. Fr Lucid thanked Fr O Callaghan and
all who helped with church duties. We all wish to thank Fr Lucid
himself who is on duty day and night almost every day of the
year.
