DEATH took place recently of Donal Brosnan of Kilmorna, he is survived by his sister Nora Mary in Dublin, Ann, Mary and Mossie in Australia and Phil in Holland. Donal was son of Dan Brosnan and Margaret Lyons, his grandmother was Hudson of Kilbaha.
DEATH took place on April 1st Holy Thursday of Willie O Sullivan of Tullamore, Listowel. He is survived by his wife Eileen, sons Patsy, Dan and Liam, daughters Noreen, Helen, Bernadette and Ann. Requiem Mass was celebrated in Ballydonoghue Church on Easter Sunday for Willie O Sullivan, the Ballydonoghue Choir put on a great performance with hymns in English and Irish. Willie a great man for the accordion was laid to rest in the family grave at St Michael’s Cemetery, Listowel. John Martin Hegarty played the accordion at his graveside. Willie was born in 1920, married 1955, he was called after his grandfather Willie O Donnell who was born 1845. Willie was second cousin to Gilbert O Sullivan the singer.
DEATH has taken place of Ann Hannon nee Scollard who was born at Knocknagorna Athea and lived at Beale Asdee before moving to Patrick Street, Listowel, following Requiem Mass at Listowel Church on Easter Sunday April 4th 2010, Ann Hannon was laid to rest at St Michael’s Cemetery, Listowel.
