VATICAN appointment: Welcome to our new Cardinal Sean Brady also best wishes to Monsignor Paul Tighe who was appointed recently second in command at the communications office at the Holy See. Mgr Tighe graduated from UCD in 1979 with a degree in Law; he later studied for the priesthood in Holy Cross College, Clonliffe and the Irish College in Rome. Fr Tighe was ordained for the Dublin Diocese in 1983.
