REQUIEM Mass for the late Michael and Denis Hanrahan was concelebrated at the Church of the Assumption Moyvane on Wednesday April 2nd `08 by their cousin Fr Horgan assisted by Bishop Murphy, Fr Lucid, Canon Linnane, Canon Fleming, Fr Joe and Fr Francis Nolan, Fr O Leary, Fr Crean Lynch, Fr Declan O Connor, Fr Tom McMahon, Fr D. Mahony, Fr Harrington, Fr Jim O Hanlon, Fr John O Connor, Fr Lawlor, Fr Sean Sheehy, Fr Philip O Connell, Fr Martin Madigan, Fr McNamara, Fr Pat Ahern and Fr Michael Buckley, hymns were sung by Margaret Woulfe and musicians played reflective tunes while people were expressing sympathy to the family, Michaels siblings are John, Patrick and Teresa and Kayrena , Marian Aine, and Shane are sisters and brother to Denis. After mass Shane Hanrahan and John Hanrahan recalled happier incidents and the caring attitude of their beloved Michael and Denis.
Following mass father and son Michael and Denis Hanrahan of the Hill Moyvane were laid to rest in Murhur Churchyard; only 12 year ago Michael’s wife Anne and mother of Denis was tearfully laid to rest in the same grave.

DEATH has taken place of Margaret Ahern of Moher Cross, Moyvane, Aggie is survived by her husband Sean Ahern and children Pat Joe, Sean, Jim, Eamon, Joe, Gerard, Anthony, Marie, Elsie, Noreen, Cathleen, and Betty, following Requiem Mass in Moyvane Church on Saturday April 5th `08 Margaret Ahern nee Dillon was laid to rest at Ahavoher Graveyard, Margaret had 32 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Death took place recently in Leeds of Bill Mangan son of Tom Mangan of Leitrim Middle, Moyvane and Katie Bunce of Lenamore. Willie was predeceased by his wife and Brothers John, Sony and Mike and is survived by his children and sisters Mary, Martha and Winifred. Tom came originally from Clare and worked at Moyvane creamery for many years.
