COMMUNITY Centre: Gala Christmas Flower Demonstration will be held in Knockanure Community Centre at 8pm on Friday 11th December, 2009, Admission free.

CHILDREN’S Christmas Concert will be held in the Knockanure Community Centre on Saturday night 12th December, 2009 at 8.15pm.

SANTA Clause will visit the Centre on Sunday 13th December between 4-6pm. All children welcome. Face painting, Disco and lots of fun for everyone. Further details contact Nora on 087 7476717.

Walsh of Limerick Christian Brothers aged 74 years, 1,500 children attended his funeral; Murdered at Kilteely, Richard Roche on 18th April 1882 aged 60 years he was a military man, report in L.C. 20th April, 1882; Died Lawrence Browne of Bank House Glin son of James Browne of Ivy House Glin on 3rd Nov. 1883; John Creagh Harnett died 22nd of March 1884 aged 84 years, a native Moynsha House, Abbeyfeale; Lee nee Galway died in Rome on May 22nd 1884, she was daughter of Michael Galwey R.M. DEATH took place on November 30th ’09 of Mark Flaherty of Ballyguiltenane, he is survived by his parents Michael and Margaret Flaherty and siblings Connor, Cariona, Michelle, Michael and Grainne, girlfriend Jessica, grandmothers Kitty and Bridie. Following Requiem Mass in Glin Church on Thursday December 3rd ’09 Mark Flaherty was laid to rest at Kinard Cemetery Glin.

DEATH occurred in Dublin on November 30th ’09 of Sr. Petronilla Kissane SMG, late of Kilgarvan, Ballylongford. Sr. Petronilla is survived by her sister Peig ni Mhurch=FA, sister-in-law Sarah and relations, Sister was laid to rest at Glasnevin Cemetery.
