GAMES: Special Olympics games will be held at Tarbert Comprehensive School Hall on St Valentines Day Feb. 14th starting at 11am, competitors from all over Kerry will compete, and among the local competitors are Tom Windle, Johnny Kissane, Johnny Mulvihill, and Edward Twomey. The event is organized by the local Kerry Eagles Club.

OPEN Night: St. Michael’s College are holding an Open/Enrolment night on Wednesday 11th February from 7.30pm – 9.00pm. At The recent A.G.M. of the Knockanure GAA club a vote of sympathy was passed to all families in the parish who suffered bereavement during the year.

The chalice and patten, the tiara, the keys and other symbols, The garment was made at the Presentation Convent in Youghal in needle point, the cuff were made in another convent.

QUIZ: Well done to the pupils of Scoil Chorp Chriost Knockanure who performed so well in the recent Credit Union Quiz which was held in the Presentation Convent Hall in Listowel.
