GRAVEYARD Mass in Parish of Moyvane Knockanure is now in its 25th year. We thank all who have kept the flag flying all these years. Only one of the original workers, is still a part of the team, which is being augmented year by year with new recruits. This year weather caused some confusion, but all worked out in the end.

Survived by sons Michael and Gerard, daughters Mary, Mairead, Kay, Martina, Angela and Jacqueline, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

DEATH of John McAuliffe of Gortdromasillihy and Lake Carmel, New York took place on 25th July 2019, he is survived by his wife Maria and Family.

FLOWERS; This is the most colourful time of year along out roads, with an abundance of wild flowers.

ROADS in the parish are a constant topic of conversation, the disruption to business people, will never be repaired, whatever about the roads. The council and the two promoters of the underground pipes, should coordinate more closely and save the taxpayer money also.

SHANNON DROWNING  – 126 years ago, seventeen local people were lost in the Shannon Drowning on the 15th August 1893 and we invite you to join us at the Memorial Plaza on Thursday 15th August at 12.30pm for a Service of Remembrance. Afterwards we will walk to Mulalley’s Berth to lay a wreath at the Memorial Stone. Everybody welcome.

This movie follows the story of 4 young girls who claim to have had apparitions of Our Lady ,St. Michael the archangel and the baby Jesus. These apparitions occurred during the 1960’s. The messages that were given to the children are still being investigated by the Vatican. There were also messages of a warning and a great miracle to the world .This movie has been seen by thousands of people. Garabandal was also supported by St.Padre Pio and St.Teresa of Calcutta.

HSE WEIGHT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME -The FREE  PHEW  (Programme  for  Healthy Eating and Weight Management) programme is run by HSE Community Dieticians to help those who are overweight or obese, to lose weight successfully.
