The Development Association will hold its AGM in the Marian Hall on Tuesday, April 7th at 9pm. Are you a young person who would like to get involved in the association? The involvement of young people is vital to the success of every organisation for the future of the parish and we would like to invite you to join our Junior committee. If you’re "not so young" you are also welcome so please feel free to attend our AGM.
Recycle Clothes Bank:
A used clothes bank has recently been installed in the recycle area beside the Community Centre. This is to fund an All Ireland Air Ambulance (A.I.A.A.). Ireland is the only country in the EU that doesn’t have this service and we are proud to be able to say that Cork & Kerry will have the first Air Ambulance in the country later this year. In a county like ours which has so many mountains and miles and miles of shoreline this is a vital service. Please help to fund this emergency service by recycling your unwanted clothes, textiles and shoes.
