North Kerry Eagles Special Olympics Club:
Congratulations to all the athletes who competed in the Munster Regional Finals held in the Mardyke, Cork on Sunday, June 21st. The heroes of the day were John Mulvihill, Tom Windle, Sinead Joy & Edward Twomey who each won one gold & one silver medal. Well done to everybody.

Moyvane GAA:
Seniors: Moyvane Seniors have reached the Division 1 Final of the North Kerry League against Beale in Duagh next Saturday night, July 4th at 7.30pm. Best of luck to the players and management. The Seniors were beaten by Glenbeigh/Glencar in Round 6 of the County League last Saturday.
U8/U10: Training for the girls U8/U10 will begin on Thursday June25th at 7pm. All are welcome.
Croke Park Trip: Great news for the U12 team who have been chosen by the County Board to play in a Blitz in Croke Park on Monday, July 6th. It is a great honour to play on the famous pitch that has been graced by so many Kerry stars. Go out there and enjoy yourselves and dream of running out on to the pitch in a Green & Gold jersey one day in the future. Parents who would like to travel with the team can contact Mairead O’Sullivan at 086 3689061 before this Friday, July 3rd.

Bereavement Group:

A meeting will be held in Ballyloughran Leisure Centre, Ballydonoghue on Tuesday, July 7th from 8.30pm to 9.30 pm. The support group is for anyone whose lives have been touched by bereavement either recently or in the past, and who are trying to come to terms with their loss. The support group is totally confidential and free of charge and is a safe place where you can share your with other people who really understand how you feel. Sincere Sympathy:
Sincere sympathy is extended to Brian & Ellen Mulvihill of Derry, Listowel on the untimely death of their son, Donal, who lost his life in a horrific car crash in Dubai. He was waked at home prior to his removal on Thursday evening and there was a huge turnout for his funeral Mass in Listowel on Friday morning. He is survived by his parents, brothers Timmy, Brian Jnr., & Mickey, sister, Molly, grandparents, Tim & Peg, his girlfriend, Mary, his nephew, Evan, aunts, uncles & extended family, many of them living in the parish of Moyvane. He was predeceased by his baby brother, Darren.
The death has also taken place last Friday in Syracuse, New York of John Culhane of the village. John was 75, the youngest and last surviving member of the family of Tom, the harnessmaker, & Bridge Culhane. He was brother of the late Mary Ann, London, Maggie O’Sullivan, Tarbert, Lizzie Buckley, Tarbert & Mickey Culhane, USA. May they rest in peace.
