GAA: Seniors: Moyvane had a great win over Cordal in the county league in Moyvane on Saturday night last. This win puts us in a strong position to retain our division three status but there is still a bit of work to be done. Our last game will be against St. Senan’s in Mountcoal. Final score on Saturday night was Moyvane 1-14, Cordal 2-4.
Juniors: Our juniors are playing Beaufort in the Barrett Cup. More details next week.
Minors: Our minors wre beaten by Beale in the North Kerry championship on Wednesday night last. This was a very enjoyable match but early goals by the Beale lads settled them, and we were always playing catch-up. Two goals by Dan Quinn in the second half brought us back into the match but then Beale stepped up the pace and added a couple of well taken points and in the end the final score was Moyvane 2-5, Beale 3-14.
Club members interested in going to the Kerry/Meath game please give their names to the secretary as soon as possible. This will make it a bit easier all round.
