SYMPATHY: Once again we have lost some members of our community. On Thursday, November 21, Micheal Fitzmaurice passed away at his home in Aughrim. Until his retirement Micheal worked in the E.S.B. power station in Tarbert Island. A quiet man, his interests were GAA and hunting with his dogs. Like all the Fitzmaurice family he was a regular in Croke Park over the years and was a huge supporter of Moyvane and Kerry football. He inherited the love of hunting from his father and covered much of the fields in the parish of Moyvane. Micheal has gone to join his parents, Edward & Kit, sister Bridie, brothers, James and Jerry and nephew Hughie. He is survived by his wife Eileen, daughter Bridget, sons Gerard and Kieran, grandchildren Jack, Annie Kate, Abban, Abban, Rian and Eve, sisters Christina and Ann, brothers Sean, Brendan, Eamon and Jody. Rest easy Micheal, you were a gentleman. The death took place of Sr. Margarite (Dora) Windle, Sisters of Charity, Epsom, Surrey, England and late of Leitrim East, Moyvane, Co. Kerry. Peacefully, on October 19. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Margaret, brothers Pat, Maurice and Tom. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters Sr. Marie (Convent of Mercy) and Kathleen, brothers Mike and Dick, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and her Sister of Charity colleagues. Funeral will take place in Epsom on November 18, with a Memorial Mass for Sr. Margarite being celebrated in the Church of the Assumption, Moyvane, on Saturday, November 20 at 7.30 p.m.
