Website:
www.kerrylaburials.ie is a new website, launched last week. For those of you who would like to research family history this is a mine of information and Kerry County Council must be complimented for compiling the information and making it available. Locally, the three graveyards are listed. Unfortunately Murhur records only run from 20/11/67 to 10/11/77 and from 03/10/89 to 13/08/09. Knockanure is also very limited with records from 04/10/89 to 11/02/10. Ahavoher records are complete from the first burial 26/01/61 to 03/06/10. These are spread over two books and there is some duplication. Please tell your relatives living abroad about the site. Very important for anyone working on a Family Tree.

Knockanure Vintage:
All roads lead to Knockanure this Sunday for the annual event. For those of you remember it and those of you who have never seen it there will be 4 Threshers working, now that’s something you won’t see too often. Billy Mason’s Steam Engine will be there. If you would like to make your own butter, demonstrations will be held at 2pm and 3pm. There will be sheaf tossing and children’s sports and lots of other interesting things happening so why not make the trip to Knockanure on Sunday.

Congratulations:
Congratulations to Johanna Mulvihill of Lower Aughrim, Moyvane and Terence Lynch of Roscrea who were married in The Church of the Assumption, Moyvane on July 30th, 2011. Fr John Lucid, P.P. officiated. Best man was Owen Lynch and Bridesmaid was Mary Kirby. The bride is daughter of Eddie Joe and Mary Mulvihill, Aughrim.

ISPCC:
THE ISPCC would like to thank all those that contributed to their recent Church Gate collection in Moyvane and Knockanure. The total collected was  €812.43.
