THE FESTIVAL IS ON, starting Friday, October 28 with a Variety Concert including the one act play “Burglary will take place” featuring local stars. Doors open 7.30pm. Programme starts at 8.00pm.

Saturday, October 29, a night not to missed, starring CLIONA HAGAN. Doors open 8.00pm with Cliona on stage from 9.00pm followed by DJ at 11.00pm.

Sunday, October 30 Vintage Show at 12 noon. Dog Show 1.00pm. Kiddie’s Tractor Run at 2.00pm. 3.00pm Trail of Horror (under 12s) Prizes for the best costume. 7.00pm Trail of Horror (12+) Prizes for Best Costume. 7.30pm Bonfire (depending on permission)

Monday, October 31 is hunt day. North Kerry Harriers will start their hunt in the village at 12 noon. 1.00pm Sam Maguire will visit along with our successful Minor County Winners and members of the Kerry Ladies All Ireland Finalists. (Maybe the Liam McCarthy cup also) Further details later.  

BINGO Please note: Beginning this Thursday night Bingo will start at 8.00pm that is a half hour earlier than the usual time. Teas and coffees will also be back in the kitchen during the interval.

MOYVANE COMMUNITY SPORTS HALL AGM will be held in the hall on Monday, October 17 at 8.00pm. New members are welcome.

PARENT’S COUNCIL of Murhur NS would like to thank all those who contributed to their Church gate collection. Total amount raised €623.10. All funds raised will go towards school resources.

START A HEART DAY Sunday, October 16 is the date for a simple CPR & AED session, informal, free & for all ages. Come along to Moyvane Community Sports Hall, bring your friends and family. You never know when you may need to help someone.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION ceremonies will take place in Moyvane on Saturday, April 28 at 11.00am and in Knockanure on Saturday, May 13 at 11.00am.
