Moyvane

Moyvane Notes – 11th December, 2005

Thousands are expected to converge on the village this Sunday Dec18 for the North Kerry Final, between Listowel and Ballyduff. The last time the North Kerry Final was played in Moyvane was on 1984 between Listowel and Tarbert in which Tarbert won. Locals would be best advised to leave their cars at home.

Ahavoher Cemetery work is in the final stages of the development and the tarmacadom, driveways and pathways are being worked on at the moment. The committee is most grateful to the Kerry County Council councilors, Fas workers and Thuatha Charrai for their help in grant aid all those who made donations and voluntary workers and for the dedicated committee for their great work and dedication.
