Why not Come and See our Award Winning Nature Walk which starts at the Community Centre and proceeds onto the

Knockanure Road
. It is an ideal place for parents with children. There is picnic areas along the route, and on the
Knockanure Road
, about a couple hundred metres from Owenamoy Bridge on the banks of the Owenamoy River there is a newly renovated Lime Kiln. Enjoy your walk.

Unwanted Clothes & Shoes  will be collected on Wednesday 21th June before 12 noon at Moyvane & Knockanure Church car parks.

 

Marrage Elaine Donovan from Lenamore, Ballylongford & Johnny Barrett From Kilmora, Listowel, who were married in St Michael’s Church, Ballylongford & held there reception in Ballygarry House, Tralee. The coupple will reside in Kilmora.

 

Clinic Jemmy Deenihan will hold his monthly clinic in Brosnanas Bar this Friday night the 16th at 8.00pm.

 

MOYVANE  GAA NOTES

 

SENIORS     Moyvane lost to Ballydonoghue in the County league recently and it put a big damper in our chances of staying with the frontrunners.  It will be a few weeks before our next game so we need to get ourselves in shape.    

JUNIORS    Moyvane play Churchill in Moyvane on Tues. night in the Junior league.

 

STAND   Work is progressing very well on the new stand and it is hoped to have it completely covered shortly.  Again we ask people to obey warning signs and be careful while work is ongoing. 

 

FEALE RANGERS   Best of luck to Feale Rangers against South Kerry when they meet in the County championship in Moyvane on Sun. next.

 

Moyvane Annual Charity Walk : This Year’s walk is in support of the Listowel & Districy Mental Health Association takes place on Sunday 25th of June at 7pm from the Marian Hall. This Association support people with mental health problems at St Senan’s day Centre and Writer’s Grove Residential Centre in Listowel. These are voluntary centre and need our support. Sponsorship cards available from Olive Keane at 49101, Eileen Roche at 49337 or any ICA member.
