BADMINTON finals: Ballybunion will represent Kerry at the Community Games Munster finals in July. Listowel won silver and Rathmore won bronze. The next event is the U/14 quiz which will be held in St. Michael’s College, Listowel this Sunday at 2pm. Girls and boys U/13 Basketball on March 25. Projects march 24 in Farranfore at 6.30pm. Marian Hall Blotto Results: there was no winner of the £4,600 Jackpot in last Thursday nights draw. The winning numbers were 4-16-21-26. Moyvane 2000: The March draw was held in the Marian Hall last Saturday night after Mass. Senior Badminton results are Brid Ahern, Division 4 and Pat Higgins Division 3 were finalists in the Kerry singles championships, Betty lane and Brid Ahern Division 4 were finalists in the Doubles championships. Betty lane won the County Club invitation tournament.

The Division 4 league team had a very good 4-3 win over Causeway and with one match to be played, they have already qualified for the final. The team was Jackie Normile, Aideen Bambury, Brid Ahern, Kay Higgins, Eamon Fitzmaurice, John M. Mulvihill, Donacha Moloney and James Sheehan. Best of luck to them in the final.

The Division 5 team also defeated Causeway 4-3. This team was Carolanne Warrilow, Kayrena Hanrahan, Eileen Roche, Thomas Greaney, Pat Walsh, Joseph Curtin, and Kevin Roche. The Division 3 B team defeated Ballyheigue 5-2. Team was Noelle Lanigan, Jeanelle Griffin, Julie Fitzmaurice, Carmel Collins, Ollie Conyard, Mike Corridan and Brian Keane.

Registration for Bord na nOg juveniles who were unable to attend on Sunday last will take place on this Sunday at 12 noon in the dressing rooms.

It is very important for all under age players to sign on, so please turn up on Sunday. The AGM of the Bord na nOg will take place on Monday night, March 13 in the Marian Hall at 9pm. We ask for more parents to turn up as we need help with the running of the club. With more people involved it will be that bit easier on everybody.

Moyvane are playing Glenbeigh in the first round of the County League in Moyvane on Sunday at 2pm. All players are asked to be in good time.

Moyvane start their county League run on St. Patricks’a Day with a game against Lispole in Moyvane at 5pm. All players are asked to be in the dressing room at 4.30 sharp.

There will be a common enrolement week in the Community College and St. Michael’s College on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 14, 15 and 16 between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
