IN the ladies and men’s leagues in Tralee, Pat Walsh (Division four), Nora Conyard and Mairead Sheehan were badminton finalists with their respective Divisional teams.

A most enjoyable Club Tournament got members into the competitive frame of mind last week and results were Division 4 and 5 ladies winners: Jackie Normile and Eileen Roche. Men: Chris Normile and John Mulvihill. Division 3 Ladies: Nora Conyard and Noelle Lanigan. Men: Michael O’Connor and Donnacha Moloney.

At the handicap tournament in Tralee on Sunday last, Eileen Roche was runner up in Division 5, and Brid Ahern runner up in Division 3.

No one managed to scoop the £3,500 jackpot last Thursday night. There were three match three winners and they each received £35. This Thursday night’s Jackpot will be £3,600 and the draw will be held at Bingo in The Marian Hall. The Golden Line this week is £760 in 14 calls.

Moyvane’s game with Finuge was cancelled on Sunday last due to the weather conditions. No definite refixture has yet been made.

Moyvane Knockanure Branch CCE will hold an AGM meeting on November 13, in the Marian Hall.

The death took place of Con Hunt, Birmingham late of Kilreaney, Kilmorna.
