Kerry County Council Meeting:
Kerry County Council comes to Moyvane with its Annual Meeting in the Marian Hall on Monday, April 18th. This is the meeting that was scheduled to be held last December but had to be cancelled due to the weather. Pat Leahy, Mayor of Kerry, was instrumental in arranging the meeting and the committee of the Marian Hall would like to welcome all members of the council, as a group, to Moyvane for the first time.

Seniors: Moyvane 2-14 Knocknagoshel 0-7 was the score in Round 2 of the Senior County League. Well done lads. They are at home to Ballylongford in Round 4 of the County League on Sunday, April 17th at 2:30pm.

Handel’s Messiah:
Handel’s Messiah is being performed by the Kerry Chamber Choir and Orchestra in St. Mary’s Church Listowel on Palm Sunday, April 17th at 8pm. Death:
The death took place recently in New Jersey of Joseph Stack of Gale Bridge, Moyvane. He is survived by his family in New Jersey and siblings, twin brother, John, twin sisters Eileen & Marie, brothers Maurice & Eddie. He was predeceased by his sisters Joan and Noreen. Mass for Joseph Stack was celebrated in the Church of the Assumption, on Monday, April 10th at 8pm.
