WALK F
First anniversary Mass for Eileen Collins, Glin Road will be held in the Church of the Assumption, Moyvane this Sunday,
January 18th, 2015 at 11am and immediately after Mass a Memorial Walk will be held as a fundraiser, with all donations going to the Alzheimers Association, North Kerry Home Care Services. The walk will begin at the Marian Hall and if you would like to help this very worthy cause contact Eileen’s husband, Jimmy Collins, Glin Road, Moyvane.

MOYVANE SENIOR BADMINTON:
Three Moyvane Teams contested Ladies and Men’s League Finals in Tralee on Wednesday night. The opposition in all divisions was Killarney. First up were Division 4 Men and they won 4-2. The team was Jamie Elliott, John  Newman, Ivan O’Brien and Timmy O’Flaherty. Next came Division 3 Ladies and  again Moyvane won 5-1 The team was Carmel Hudson, Helen Browne, Jeanelle Griffin and Francine Collins and to wrap it up the Division 3 Men made it a hat trick  for the Club when they won 4-0. The final two games didn’t need to be  played. The team was Kevin Kennelly, James Sheehan, John M. Mulvihill and  Christopher McCarthy. A great result for the players and the club. The Club  would like to congratulate Ballyheigue on winning the Ladies Division 4 Final, their first league win in many years. The Listowel Invitation Tournament was held at the weekend. On Saturday Jamie Elliott was finalist in the Masters competition and in the  Listowel Tournament, Sunday Carmel Hudson was Division 3 Runner-up. The Division 4 winner was Krystal Crowley with Ivan O’Brien Runner-up.

DANCE CLASSES

Starting January 26th, Listowel Community College are offering night courses including French, Spanish, Cake Decorating, Computers, Operation Transformation, First Aid, Introduction to Childcare, Parenting for Teenage Years and many more.
