Seniors: Moyvane had a bad day at the races last Sunday, loosing to Brosna in Round 3 of the North Kerry League on a final score of Moyvane 0-9, Brosna 2-14. Moyvane scorers: Timmy Noonan 0-3, James Flavin 0-2, Donal Leahy 0-1, Kevin Kennelly 0-1, Ian McCarthy 0-1 and Owen Stack 0-1.
Minors: Moyvane lost out to Keel/Listry in Round 2 of the County League. Final score Moyvane 3-8, Keel/Listry 1-15. Moyvane scorers: Con Mulvihill 2-2, Timmy Noonan 0-4, Padraig Leahy 1-0, Martin Stack 0-1 and Tom Quinn 0-1.
Senior Fixtures: Please check the Fixture Posters around the village for details of the seniors North Kerry League fixtures. Moyvane will play Asdee and Ballylongford over the weekend but times and dates are not yet confirmed.
Minor Fixtures: Moyvane are away to Tarbert in Round 3 of the County League on Saturday, March 17th at 4pm.
Scór na bPáistí: Congratulations to the Moyvane Ballad Group who have reached the North Kerry Final after a great performance in Currow on Sunday last. The final will be held in the Tintean Theatre, Ballybunion on Sunday March 25th at 2pm. Well done to Amiee Lindsell, Lisa Mulvihill, Margaret Mulvihill, Laura Stack and Lisa Stackpoole.
Kerry Seniors: Congratulations to Paddy Curtin who scored his first goal for the Kerry Seniors during Kerry’s win over Donegal on Sunday last.

The Division 3 & Division 5 teams had successful outings during the week both winning by 5-2. The Division 3 team of Saorcha Fitzgerald, Carmel Hudson, Jeanelle Griffin, Dermot Keane, James Sheehan and Donnacha Moloney defeating County and the Division 4 team of Francine Collins, Eleanor Sheehan, Louise Behan, Chris McCarthy, Timmy Noonan, Myles Kearney and Padraig Kearney defeated Annascaul.

Easter party time and third annual 5km sponsored walk at Knockanure Community Centre on Sunday, April 1st 2012 (don’t be fooled).. Assemble at 1.30pm. Registration on the day €10. Refreshments on return and monster raffle. On the same day from 2pm to 4pm….Activities for the kids will include a fun quiz, Face Painting, Disco with DJ Shicco and Easter Egg Galore for all kids.
