SHOOTING
THE shooting season got off to a good start, with plenty of pheasants due to the number of previous fine summers and the restocking programme by the local gun club.

GAA
Seniors: Moyvane played out an exciting draw with Cromane in the final round of the County league last Saturday. The match was very close throughout, and Cromane got through in the last attack for an equalising point. This finishes our County league programme where we finished third in the table, just missing out. Final score was 0-15 to 2-9. It’s on to the North Kerry championship where we play St Senans on Sunday November 21 in Ballybunion. More details next week.
DEATH
The death took place recently of Con Hanrahan, New York and late of Kilbaha, Moyvane. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
