Moyvane Development Association?
Development Association members are over the moon since the Tidy Towns results last week. Up four points again from last year with a score of 254 they creeping closer and closer to the top. The adverse Winter and the "Summer Weather" made progress slow in some project areas so the result was all the sweeter. Thank you to the committee assisted by members of the Rural Social Scheme, Fás, Village Residents, Housing Development Committee and members of the Business Community. Congratulations and thank you for your dedication in making Moyvane worthy of the judges praise this year. Well done. Next up, The Annual Village Festival, October Bank Holiday weekend. Next committee meeting will be Tuesday, September 27th in the Marian Hall at 9pm.

Seniors: Moyvane seniors lost out to Beale in the Novice Shield semi final on a final score of Moyvane 0-9, Beale 0-11.

U13’s: Congratulations to the Moyvane U-13’s who had an outstanding win over Tarbert last Friday evening. All players played their hearts out and a great level of skill and class was shown by everyone. Well done. The U-13 Tommy Madden NK draw has also taken place. Moyvane play Bally/Asdee in the first round.
