CONGRATULATIONS to Tara Mulvihill who has qualified for the Count Final of Scor competition which will be held in the Glen Eagle Hotel next Sunday at 6.30 p.m. Tara will be competing in the U-18 Solo singing competition.
The senior citizens Christmas Party will be held next Sunday at the Listowel Arms Hotel, starting with Mass at 1.15 p.m., and followed by dinner at 2 p.m., sharp. A benefit dance ceile will be held in the Marian Hall on January 1, music by Joe and Annamarie Riordan. This is organised by the Moyvane set dancers and Timmy Woulfe, proceeds to the Paul O’Flaherty benefit fund.
A meeting about the care of graveyards in the Parish will be held in the Marian Hall at 8 p.m., next Tuesday. All are welcome.
Moyvane GAA are holding a meeting on Monday night in the Marian Hall at 8 p.m. We are encouraging Blotto sellers to try and sell more tickets and keep the effort going. We are progressing well with our efforts to set up our football and coaching committee. All members are welcome to come to the meeting.
The marriage took place last Saturday of Joanne Stack, Gale Bridge and Ronan Duffy, Dublin at the Church of the Assumption, Moyvane. The reception was held in the Ballygarry Hotel.
