Moyvane GAA – U21:
Moyvane play Tarbert in the replay of the North Kerry Championship on Sunday, 28th January in Moyvane. More details next week.

A.G.M.: The A.G.M. of the Moyvane G.A.A. club will be held on Friday night, 2nd February. All members should attend.

Drive Safe for Life Programme:
The Shannonside No Name Club are holding a one-day programme dedicated to influencing young people’s approach towards learning to drive safely and passing their test, at the Community Centre Tarbert on Saturday, January 20th, starting at 9.45am and finishing at 3pm. Cost €5. Bring a
packed lunch. Tea, coffee and drinks will be provided. The presentations are given in an informal style encouraging interaction and provide the opportunity to discuss relevant points with the presenter.
The programme includes:
  • Graphic results of reckless driving
  • Seatbelts
  • Mobile phones and driving
  • Drink and drugs
  • Speed kills
  • Basic rules of the road
  • Adopting the correct attitude
  • Anticipation and hazard awareness
  • Vulnerable road users
  • Overview of Theory Test and how to apply for a provisional license
  • Practical advice on driving lessons and insurance
  • The practical Driving test

National Association for Deaf People:
The National Association for Deaf People will be having an Information Session on Tuesday, 16th January at 11am in St. Patrick’s Hall, Listowel. Issues to be discussed include lip reading, adaptive equipment, hearing aids, etc. Everyone is welcome. The information session is free. If you have
