Bingo:

Census 2011:
The 2011 Census of Population will be held on Sunday, April 10th. Over the coming weeks your Census Form will be delivered to your home and every person in Ireland on that night is obliged to complete it. Enumerators for the Moyvane area are Marie Behan, Marguerite Lynch and Anna Maria Kennelly. All Census Enumerators carry ID. Any queries call 086 4106478.

Badminton:
During the week two teams hosted matches at home, first it was the Ladies Division 5 playing Listowel and they had a 4-0 victory. The team was Olive Keane, Charlotte Fitzgerald, Eileen Roche and Celia O’Grady, then the Division 3 mixed team played Kingdom and won 7-0. This team was Carmel Hudson, Saorcha Fitzgerald, Elaine Hudson, Jeanelle Griffin, Donie Enright, Donnacha Moloney, John Mulvihill and James Sheehan.

Moyvane GAA:
Minors:
Moyvane minors lost by just one point to Asdee/Bally in Round 4 of the Division 5a of the County League played in Moyvane on Saturday last. The final score was Moyvane 2-10, Asdee/Bally 2-11. Moyvane’s next game is CL Rd 5 at home to Tarbert on Saturday, March 19th at 4:30pm. 
Seniors: Ballydonoghue were too strong for Moyvane in Round 2 of the Division 2 North Kerry League played in Moyvane on Sunday last on a final score of Moyvane 0-6, Ballydonoghue 2-8. Moyvane’s next game is away to Ballydonoghue in Round 1 of the Division 5 North, County League on Sunday, March 20th at 2:30pm.

GAA Lotto Results: There was no winner of last Sunday night’s Jackpot of €4,400. Scór na bPáistí: The County Semi Final for North of the County took place at the Community Centre Abbeydorney on Saturday last March 12th and after a most enjoyable evening’s entertainment the North Kerry Football Board had a very successful outing with 5 Clubs going forward to the County Finals. Moyvane’s young performers came out tops on the night in two categories, Ballad Group & Novelty Act. Lisa Stackpool, Lisa Mulvihill, Laura Stack, Amiee Lindsell and Margaret Mulvihill made up the Ballad Group and members of the Novelty Act were Donal Stack, Colin Enright, Dylan Quinn, Gavin Kennelly, Micheal Collins, David O’Carroll, Thomas Moore and Moira Flaherty. Well done also to the Figure Dancers and Recitation who were unlucky not to get the adjudicators nod. Congratulations to everyone who competed on the night, Moyvane is proud of your performances, beidh lá eile….. The Tinteán Theatre, Ballybunion is the venue for the County Finals on Sunday, March 27th commencing at 2.30pm sharp.
Ladies GAA: Registration for ladies football will take place on Monday, March 21st at 8:30pm in the Marian Hall. Cost for the year is €35. All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Car Boot Sale & Indoor Market:

Radio Production Course:

Rivers Run Free:
Tune in to Tommy Rivers every Saturday night from 8pm – 10pm on West Limerick 102fm to hear the best in Country and Western music.

Gardening Class:
Abbeyfeale Community Garden (at the side of the Curate’s house) has been allocated funding by Co. Limerick VEC for a tutor to run a ten week organic vegetable growing class. The class will run from Wednesday, March 23rd and each Wednesday following from 7pm-9pm. There are 30 places available, 20 for new students and 10 for 2nd years and it will cost €30 per person. Places are on a first come, first served basis can be reserved by ringing 087 6866450.
