Moyvane Development Association:
This week’s Tidy Towns results brought great joy and satisfaction to the members of the association who worked so hard during the year. An increase of 5 points again this year brings the the score to 246 points. To the committee, village residents, Rural Social Scheme and Fas members we say a big "Congratulations" and thank you for your dedication. You are the people who made Moyvane Village worthy of the judges praise. As this year’s "Summer" weather made progress slow in some project areas, we are thrilled with the result. Since we first entered the competition in 2001 we have increased marks each year so it’s upwards and onwards from here. Our aspiration is to progress like our fellow South Kerry village, Sneem, and bring back another award.
