BADMINTON
Moyvane Division 5 defeated Annascaul 5-2 in Division 5 Mixed League. Team: Liam Greaney, Micheal Collins, Michael Nolan, Marie Kennelly, Charlotte Quinn, Aoife Curtin and Eileen Roche. Moyvane Division 3 defeated County 4-3  in the Division 3 Mixed League. Team: Timmy Hanrahan, Timmy Noonan, John Mulvhill, Chris McCarthy, Niamh Flaherty, Helen Browne, Francine Collins and Jenelle Griffin.

SENIOR NORTH KERRY LEAGUE RESULTS: 
Moyvane lost at home to Brosna in Rd 1 of the Division 1A North Kerry League on a final score of Moyvane 0-10, Brosna 1-14.  Moyvane Scorers: Martin Stack 0-6, Brian Stack 0-1, Aidan Keane 0-1, Joe Coulson 0-1 and David Moloney 0-1.
SENIOR NORTH KERRY LEAGUE FIXTURES:  Moyvane are at home to Beale in Rd 2 of the Division 1A North Kerry League on Sunday, February 21st at 2pm.
MEMBERSHIP:  Club membership for 2016 is now open at €40 for Players and €20 for Student Players and Non-Players.  Membership will close in March.  Only paid up members will be considered for any All Ireland Championship tickets that the club may receive.  Also only paid up members have a vote at the AGM.
€100 LOTTO:  Once again Moyvane GAA is offering you the chance of purchasing a €100 Lotto Ticket that will be entered for you into each weekly draw.  There are two free weeks included with this purchase.   If you are interested just contact any Committee member.
CLUB LOTTO:  There was no winner of this weeks Jackpot of €3,400.  Numbers drawn were 4, 8, 19 and 23.  Lucky Dips of €40 each: Ml O’ Connor, Paddy Horgan c/o Amber, Karen Shine, Glin Road, Moyvane, Mary Hanrahan, All Star Bar, Willie Nolan, Athea.  Next weeks Jackpot is €3, 600 and the draw will be held in Kearney’s Bar on Sunday, 21st at 10pm.

BINGO FUNDRAISER
Tarbert Comprehensive School ‘Bingo Fundraiser’ afternoon will take place on Sunday, February 28th at 2pm in the school.  All funds raised will go towards furnishing the new Fitness Suite that has just been built. Books can be pre-paid through the school office or at the door. A single book costs €10 and a double book costs €15. This is a fundraiser that should be supported by all of North Kerry and West Limerick because the school has provided and is still providing a high class education for the area. Please show your appreciation and gratitude by attending Bingo on the day, Sunday, February 28th at 2pm.

PARISH OFFICE
Have you been in the Parish Office? If not you should pay a visit. It is very convenient. You can get your Mass Cards but not alone that there are Communion & Confirmation cards plus gifts to honour both of these Sacraments. You can also pick up Mother’s Day, St. Patricks Day and Easter cards. This is very convenient.

RAMBLING HOUSE
Listowel Rambling House will take place in the Seanchaí Centre on Thursday, February 25th from 9.15pm.  Admission is free to this informal evening of traditional music, song, dance & storytelling.

SIVE
It’s 57 years since its first outing in Listowel and now, all those years later the play, which still resonates with audiences both rural and urban will be staged by the Abbeyfeale Drama Group in Fr. Casey’s Clubhouse beginning Tuesday, February 16 and continuing its run on February 18, 20/21/23/25/27 and finishing on Sunday, February 28.  All proceeds from the first night on Tuesday, February 16 go to the Abbeyfeale Lourdes Invalid Fund.  Chairman of the Drama Group Seamus Lane has issued an invitation to one and all to come and see their production which will start at 8.00pm.. “Bi ann gan teip agus beidh failte roimh gach einne.”
