 GAA NOTES

CLUB DRAW The Moyvane G.A.A. club are embarking on a huge development draw to finish off the tremendous work done to our field and facilities. We are very proud of the achievement to date and with your great support we hope to carry on to complete the development. We have two cars as well as big cash prizes on offer. Tickets and information from Teddy Keane at 068 49964 or 086 8609740, or from any committee member. Brochures are also available from committee members. We are now starting get out and sell so within the next few weeks we will be calling on you and we hope that again you will support our effort and help us complete the development.

A.G.M. The A.G.M. of the Moyvane G.A.A. club will be held on Fri. night Feb. 3rd in the Marian Hall at 8pm. All members are asked to attend and new members would be very welcome.

WELL DONE To the Kerry team on their victory over UL in the McGrath Cup on Sat. last in Moyvane. We were delighted to host the game and all in all the day went off very well. Thanks to everybody who helped us and made things comfortable for supporters, players and all involved.

FIANNA FAIL The A.G.M. of the Moyvane Fianna Fail cumann will be held on Mon. night Feb. 6th in the Marian Hall at 9pm. All members are welcome.

The Bishop would be delighted if a few more Parishioners would sign a standing Order for the Sick and Retired Priests Support Fund. Please contact the Presbytery for the Application Form.

Sr. Noreen Quilter will give a talk to the parents of the First Communion Classes and Confirmation Classes in Murhur National School on Tuesday 31st January at 8pm.

Singing Classes will begin on Friday January 20th at 5pm, with Mary Mulvihill. All are welcome.

The Chernobyl Children s Fund are holding an Information meeting on Tuesday 18th January at 8pm</st1:time> in the Imperial Hotel, Denny St. Tralee.
If you are interested in hosting Chernobylchildren or getting involved with our group, please come along.


Community IT Access will be commencing computer classes on Monday 23rd January. Enrolment / Registration will take place from Monday 16th to Friday 23rd January. There will be a number of free courses run for the over 55 s during the term.
