MOYVANE SENIOR BADMINTON
The Division 2 & 3 Ladies and Mens Doubles Championships were held in Killarney on Friday night with Moyvane players enjoying success. In Division 2 Michael J. O’Connor, playing with James Leane, Listowel defeated Timmy Noonan and John Mulvihill in the final. In the Ladies Doubles Elaine Hudson, and Meave Twoomey, Killarney were finalists. In Division 4 Krystle Crowley and Louise Behan were unlucky not to take the title, losing by just 2 points. Well done to all and to those who reached semi-final stages in both Divisions.

MURHUR NATIONAL SCHOOL
Well done to the pupils from Murhur National School, Moyvane who gave great performances in Knocknagoshel last Sunday. The Ballad Group, Solo Singer and Set Dancers, all go through to the County Finals of Scor na bPaisti on Sunday, March 22nd in Killarney. This is a huge achievement for the boys and girls, and a great day for the parish with Moyvane representing three categories in the County Final.

The Moyvane Development Association would like to thank everyone who contributed to their annual Church Gate Collection held recently.

NORTH KERRY COLLEGE OF FURTHER EDUCATION
North Kerry College of Further Education, formerly Listowel Community College are holding an Open Day, Wednesday, March 25th from 2pm-6pm. The station is having a fundraising race night on Friday, March 20th in Cleary’s Bar, Newcastle West. The main reason for this fundraiser is to raise funds for the upgrade of the transmission equipment in Abbeyfeale. Please support and keep community radio on air.

PAMPERING DAY AT THE DEVON INN
The very successful second annual pampering day is booked for the Devon Inn on Sunday, March 22nd from 3pm-6pm and will make a wonderful gift idea for Mother’s Day and birthdays. Demonstrations on hair and makeup, mother and daughter photo booth and a fashion show are among some of the events planned for the afternoon.
