Joan O’Shaughnessy of Newtownshandrum, Co. Cork was on holiday in Ballybunion last week. She came to Bingo last Thursday night, spun the wheel and won €400. Well done Joan. You too could spin the wheel and win €2,000. James Carmody did a few weeks ago and walked away with the two grand.

Senior Citizens Summer Party:

The senior citizens summer party will take place in the Marian Hall on next Sunday, August 22nd. Moyvane GAA: 

Seniors: Moyvane seniors are at home to Renard in Round 8 of the County League on Saturday, August 21st at 7:15pm.
Under 16s: Best of Luck to the U16 team and management when they take on Beale in the County League Division 7 Final in Ballylongford this Wednesday  evening, August 18th at 7pm.
Under 13s: Moyvane will play Knock/Brosna in Knocnagoshel on Thursday, August 19th at 7:30pm in the U13 Championship Semi Final.
GAA Lotto: There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot of €3,400.  Numbers drawn were 2   9   17   20.  Lucky Dips of €40 each: Michelle & John c/o Speedy’s, Patrick Enright c/o Brosnan’s, Jason O’Gorman, Woodgrove, Diarmuid Fitzmaurice, Leitrim Middle and J.J. Knockanure Vintage Day:
The Vintage Day will take place in Knockanure next Sunday, August 22nd. The Committee of the Knockanure Community Centre will hold a cake sale. Donations of cakes or any type of confectionery are welcome. A bric-a-brac stall in aid of Tidy Towns will also be held and the committee would appreciate your contributions.

Congratulations to Josephine Moloney, daughter of Joan & Billy Moloney who married Pat Rodgers of Galway on July 24th in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney. The reception was held in Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee.

The Kerry Parents & Friends Association wish to thank most sincerely all who helped with and contributed so generously to their recent Church Gate Collection. A total of €831.80 was raised.

Kerry Emigrant Association:
The Kerry Emigrant Association wish to thank those who helped with their collection last weekend and in particular those who contributed almost €700 to the cause.
