GAA – Under 21:
Moyvane play Tarbert in the North Kerry U-21 Championship on Saturday next. Venue & time yet to be confirmed.
North Kerry Final:
Moyvane are hosting the North Kerry Senior Championship Final again this year, which will be played on St. Stephen's Day. We will again be calling on our dedicated and reliable workers to help us through the event. It should be a big day in the village and, again, we are very proud of our facilities. On behalf of the club, I wish all our supporters, players and patrons a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year.
Lotto:
Our GAA Lotto will be held on Saturday night in Brosnan's this week, due to Christmas Eve falling on the Sunday. We wish to thank everybody for supporting our weekly Lotto and best of luck in the draws.
Knockanure:
Knockanure won the North Kerry Novice Final, beating Gale Rangers by 9pts to 2pts. The side was captained by Moyvane's Fintan McEnery.
Senior Citizens:
The Senior Citizens Annual Christmas Dinner was held in the Listowel Arms Hotel on Sunday, 17th December. It was a great day of music, song and dancing.

KDYS:
KDYS Listowel are holding a disco, which is open to all teenagers, on Friday 22nd December 2006 at Moyvane Community Centre between 8.30pm and 11pm. Cost of entry is €7. A strict no alcohol and drugs policy will be in place. For more information, contact KDYS Listowel on 068-23744.

Tarbert Jamboree 2006:
- Friday, 29th December @ 7.30pm – Launch of our Addiction Awareness Day, by Sr. Eileen Fahey, in St. Brendan's Church of Ireland, Tarbert. Followed by 'Music by Candlelight', a classical concert musical gem – not to be missed!
- Saturday, 30th December @ 7.30pm – Vigil Mass at St. Mary's Church, Tarbert for all those whos lives have been touched by suicide and/or addiction. Followed by 'Secrets & Stories', an evening of craic and story-telling in the Community Hall, Tarbert – guaranteed that you will go home in great form!
- Sunday, 31st December @ 2pm – Annual football match for Thomas Lyndon Memorial Trophy, followed by the wreath-laying ceremony in Kilnaughtin cemetery.
All our events are FREE and OPEN TO EVERYBODY. No tickets, booking, etc – admission on a first-come, first-served basis. Come early and bring a friend or two!

The death took place of Elizabeth Mary Murphy (nee Dore), late of Gortdromossillihy and London. She was buried in London last week.
