MARIAN HALL BLOTTO
There was no winner of last Thursday night’s €7,500 Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 13   19   24   31. MOYVANE VILLAGE FESTIVAL
It is that time of year again…summer is over and we are looking forward to our annual festival over the October Bank Holiday Weekend. Preparations for the weekend are now being finalised. The Festival kicks off on Friday afternoon when the winners of the Primary Schools Art Competition will be announced.  Later that evening the second Rambling House will take place in The Marian Hall, with kick off at 8pm.

On Saturday morning from 11am to 1pm Art workshops for children over 5yrs will take place in the Marian Hall.  At the same time a Fifa Playstation Tournament for 8-12yr olds will be taking place. The 13th Annual Boro Buffet will be held that night in The Marian Hall with great food (prepared by Kingdom Kitchen Catering) and live music with Tim Somers. Doors open at 7.30pm (Strictly).

Sunday is an action packed day. The official unveiling and blessing of the 1916 Garden Of Remembrance will take place at 1.30pm. In the Community Centre Car Park the Vintage Rally Display takes place. A Craft Fair, Farmers Market, Bonny Baby Competition, Glamorous Granny Competition and kid’s entertainment including a Puppet Show will all take place here also. The annual Dog Show will take place in the Church Car Park.  The local Youth Club are doing a Sponsored Walk (departs Community Centre at 1.45pm).  The ICA have organised a Time Capsule which will also be buried during the Festival. On Sunday Night a variety concert including a One Act Play “Fledged and Flown” will take place in The Marian Hall. Doors open 7.30pm. Bank Holiday Monday sees the North Kerry Harriers Hunt season kick off. Hunt leaving the village at 12pm. Halloween Festivities for children (under 12) takes place in The Marian Hall at 1.30pm with a Fancy Dress Party.  At 3pm the ICA are holding their ceremony for the burial of the Time Capsule.

RAMBLING HOUSE
Listowel Rambling House will take place in the Seanchaí Centre, Listowel on Thursday October 27th  from 9.15pm.  A great evening of traditional music, song, dance & storytelling is guaranteed and audience participation is welcome.  Admission is free, tea/coffee served.

HALLOWEEN
Visit the Haunted Writers’ Hall at the Seanchaí Centre, Listowel from Sunday October 30th to Tuesday November 1st from 3pm to 5 pm.  Suitable for children aged 5 to 10 years.  A children’s Halloween Arts Camp will also take place from November 1st to 4th from 10 am to 1 pm.  For further details tel.
