Moyvane GAA Results:
U21s: The U21s beat Listowel Emmets on Tuesday last on a score of 2-12 to 1-14 to reach the quarter final of the Club County Shield.  Moyvane scorers – Paddy Curtin 1-9, James Noonan 1-1, Kevin Kennelly 0-2.
Minors: The Minors were beaten by Beale in the North Kerry League semi final, played in Ballylongford on Thursday last on a final score of Moyvane 1-9, Beale 5-9.  Moyvane scorers – Martin Sheehy 0-2, James Noonan 0-1, Timmy Noonan 0-2, Johnny Greaney 1-4. 
Juniors: The Juniors were beaten by 1 point by Annascaul in the Barrett Cup on Friday last on a score of Moyvane 3-8, Annascaul 2-12. 
Seniors: The Seniors won away to Renard in the County League on Saturday last on a final score of Moyvane 1-9, Renard 1-6.  Moyvane scorers – Paddy Curtin 1-6, Kevin Kennelly 0-1, Cathal O’ Connor 0-1, Damien O’ Flynn 0-1.

Fixtures: Moyvane U21s will play in the 2008 North Kerry Championship against Listowel Emmets on Wednesday, August 19th at 7:15pm in Ballybunion.

The church gate collection this weekend is for Kerry Emigrants who emigrated during the 50’s and were less fortunate than some and now need our support. Please contribute generously.

The following deaths took place last week.
Sean Hanrahan, Shrone, husband of Anna-Mai Hanrahan of Kilbaha. He is survived by his wife, sons Mike & Seamus, daughters Siobhan & Enda, sister Josie Brassil and brother Tom.
Pat O’Sullivan of Tarmons West died suddenly on Tuesday last week. A native of Castleisland he is survived by his wife Peig Sheehan, sons Denis & John, daughters Hannah & Norma and extended family.
Nellie Collins, Lisaniskea, Kilmorna and formerly O’Flaherty of Glenalappa died in Kerry General Hospital after a short illness. She was wife of the late Larry Collins and mother of Frank, Jim, Patsy, Maurice, Michael, Kathleen, Eileen & Margie.
