North kerry championship a huge crowd attend the north kerry championship which washeld on moyvane playing field on Sunday last the first since 1985 the pitch itself was in ideal condition and was a dry as you would get in the summer. Many tributies was paid to the late tim kennelly bythe moyvane and north kerry kerry board.his mother Margaret of course comes from kilabha moyvane.the itself was a poor encounter with the exception of the 20 mins which ballyduff won 2-6 to listowel 0-7.

 

The girls and boys of Moyvane N. S. will be featured on the Frank Lewis Show on Radio Kerry on Christmas Eve morning.  The show was recorded in the Marian Hall, Moyvane on Tuesday 20th December. 

 

Senior Badminton,
The Div. 4 mens league team of Dermot Keane, Christopher McCarthy, Edward
McCarthy and Donal Enright defeated Listowel 6-0 in Listowel recently. On Mon. the Div. 3 mixed league team Jeanelle Griffin,Nora Conyard,
Carmel Hudson, Kevin Stack, Ollie Conyard, Pat Higgins, and William Flaherty
were narrowly defeated 4-3 at home by Kenmare.

 

MOYVANE  GAA NOTES

CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL   On Sun. last Ballyduff captured the North Kerry title with a well earned and deserved win over Emmets in Moyvane.  Weather conditions were very poor and made good football diffficult however the field held up very well and all in all the event ran off smoothly.   The club wish to thank everybody who helped in any way with the handling of the proceedings and congratulate Ballyduff on their great win.   On behalf of the club I wish all supporters and patrons a very happy Christmas and a peaceful new year.

 

TEE SHIRTS     Moyvane G.A.A. are still selling club Tee-shirts at €15 each.   They are good value and you are supporting your local club.
