It would suit workers, people doing training or apprenticeships, students, people with hospital appointments and those making hospital visits, as well as those who wish to avail of train and bus connections to other parts of the country. The bus would run 5 days a week and also serve the villages of Ardagh, Carraigkerry and Athea.
