ALL political parties are holding their final rallies in the election campaign. For the first time the people of Knockanure will be voting in Moyvane. There will be three polling booths and 1,466 are eligible to vote from the locality.

The death took place recently of David Dillon, Kilmeaney, at University Hospital, Cork, at 55 years of age. Internment took place in Ahavoher Cemetery. He is survived by his sisters, relatives and friends. Sympathy was extended to the bereaved family.
