North Kerry Together Ltd Jobs Club are holding an information morning in the Marian Hall this Wednesday. The marriage has taken place of Patricia Breen, Asdee and Patrick Fitzgerald, Aughrim at the Prince of Peace Church, Fossa. The reception was held at Castlerosse Hotel, Killarney.
The death took place recently of William (Billy) O’Brien late of Trien, Kilmorna who died in London.
Moyvane under-16’s lost to Bally/Asdee in the North Kerry league last week after a very close game. Tonight they play Tarbert, check venue. On Wednesday 23rd Moyvane play Beale in Ballybunion. Both games at 7.30pm.
Moyvane seniors were well beaten by Ballyduff in the County league on Saturday night last in Ballybunion. Early goals in each half by Ballyduff put paid to Moyvane’s chances who did not take points while they had use of the fresh breeze in the first half. On Saturday night next, the seniors are playing Duagh in Duagh at 7pm. This is a game the team must do well in if we are to stay in the race for promotion this year.
Moyvane minors lost to a very strong S. Pat’s side last Friday night in the County league. The much sharper Tralee lads took their chances very well. Final score 4-7 to 0-6. This Friday the minors play B eale in Ballybunion at 7pm. Assemble at Brosnan’s at 6pm sharp.
Moyvane juniors lost to Emmets B in the opening round of the North Kerry league last week. While Moyvane played very well Emmets all round were better and scored more freely. The next game is against Clounmacon and players are asked to check for definite fixture.
The under-14 are playing Tarbert in Tarbert next Monday in the County league at 7.30pm. Players assemble at the corner at 6.45 sharp.
The under-12’s start their county league programme on Sunday April 27.
